Jacoba Francisca Maria "Cobie" Smulders is a Canadian actress, now best known for her role as Robin Scherbatsky on 'How I Met Your Mother', although she has also appeared as Agent Maria Hill in 'The Avengers' film and the 'Marvel's Agents of SHIELD' series which span off from it.
