Overview[]
The Eightfold Path was a High Guard Mercy Class Medical Support Ship that was destroyed in the fall. She was found about 300 years after the fall by Andromeda Ascendant. According to Andromeda's scans of her debris field, she was hit amidships in one of her Antiproton Storage Tanks by a missile. She and Andromeda apparently ran an unspecified medical relief mission to a planet called Sculpta 119.

- The name is a reference to the Buddhist way to the end of suffering and the achievement of self-awakening known as the Noble Eightfold Path.
