Overview[]
Enkindu is a largely Than-Thre-Kull inhabited world that has, like its neighbor, Schopenhauer's World, been a battleground between the two powerful Sabra and Jaguar Nietzschean Prides. Despite being a planet officially owned by the Jaguar, Enkindu's long-suffering people have had little preference as to which side would prevail in the 200 year-old conflict, instead seeking to drive both prides off the planet. It was given its independence as a condition of the terms negotiated between the Jaguar Pride and Captain Hunt, who in exchange agreed to use the Andromeda Ascendant to transport Sabran First Daughter Elssbett Mossadim-Bolivar to the Jaguar homeworld, where she was to marry the Jaguar Archduke, Charlemagne Bolivar.
Trivia[]
- The name is a variant on Enkimdu, one of the older versions of the figure now generally known as Enkidu. He is a key player in the Epic of Gilgamesh, the wild man whose brute strength rivals that of the demi-god Gilgamesh himself.
