Kalad is a young Perseid public relations officer on-board Paradise Drift. He escorts the crew of the Andromeda Ascendant after they board the Drift, and later gives them a brief tour of the drift. He is seen later as a part of Director Vandats group of aides during later functions and negotiations. He is described by Dylan as having a high voice.
