Orca Pride is a pirating pride numbering in the thousands.

From 100 AFC, the Orca had preyed on the Than Hegemony through use of plasma cannon that could move their homeworld from system to system. However, their days of pirating were numbered when the Andromeda Ascendant helped the Than and asked the Orca to stand down. Its Nietzschean crewmate, Tyr Anasazi, promised them the Andromeda in exchange for a mate, but he turned on them at the last minute and with Than on their way, Orca Pride had to flee to a new homeworld. An old ally of the Drago-Kazov Pride and with 3000 members they became an important ally in the war against the New commonwealth following the Second Insurrection.
