Rakshasha Pride is a large active Nietzschean pride. It's homeworld is Carva-Rakhshasa, which is sparsely populated and has a varied climate. The Rakshasha are scavengers, and usually do not attack larger vessels choosing to prey on the smaller less formidable starships they come across. Although the Rakshasha is a relatively large pride, they wield very little actual power. The Andromeda Ascendants' first encounter with them was when a boarding party led by pride member Calleb Voth took File-D from the Systems Commonwealth vessel Magellan Melrow. The Melrow was en route to a nearby planet where the New Systems Commonwealth intended to store File-D; but the weapon was accidentally activated when the Nietzscheans attacked the ship and destroyed the crew members minds.
