Topeka Drift is an unprepossessing but well maintained Drift which is a popular way station and meeting place, owing to its location in a region of space unclaimed by any major power. Topeka's citizens remain safe in their rough neighborhood by letting their station be used as a base of operations for several mercenary groups, including the Mandau Pride and a local chapter of the Ogami Sisterhood. Both groups provide Topeka with protection in return for free food, fuel, and accommodations.
